I have been having fun playing with Fusion Mineral Paint! I racked my brains to try and come up with a creative way to show you some great colours for the holiday season. I decided to go with some wet paint shots and thought the addition of some cookie cutters would be adorable.

This is our happy accident! Karen helped me with this photo shoot because it's hard to deal with wet paint, adjust my lights and operate my camera all at the same time.

Karen put the tree cookie cutter covered in paint down on a scrap piece of cardboard and when we picked up the cookie cutters to wash them, we saw this. The paint had dripped off the cookie cutter and looked so cute.

I had some kraft paper bags handy, so we decided to play some more.

We poured about 1/4" of paint into a tiny foil plate and let the cookie cutter sit in it for awhile. We noticed that one edge of the cookie cutter was much wider than the other edge, so we put the wider edge in the paint to make the outline of the snowman thicker.

Once we placed the cookie cutters on the kraft bags, we let them sit for about 10 minutes so that the paint would drip off of them and create some depth.

We loved the results so much that we decided to try a little gingerbread man dipped in Cranberry.

Our cookie cutters were clean before we dipped them in the paint, so we poured the left over paint back into the bottle so that we did not waste any.

I am not much of a baker, so I was thrilled to find a new use for my cookie cutters!

How cute are these little gift bags? They are perfect for gift giving but could also be used to decorate your home for the Holiday Season!

For the record - I am so impressed with myself. I've had these littles jars filled with chocolate spoons and cookies sitting in my shop for at least three weeks and they are still full. I am a chocolate lover and in the middle of the night I have been tempted to sneak downstairs to my shop for a chocolate fix - but I have resisted!
