Giveaway #4 and Beautiful colour combinations with Fusion Mineral Paint - Part 2

This Giveaway is over, but you can still enjoy some beautiful colour combinations with Fusion Mineral Paint.

My Painted Door - Giveaway winner is April!

April S. from Hancock, Michigan is our Giveaway #2 winner!

Thank you for all the great comments everyone. I'm enjoying reading them. One of my favourite comments was from Dawn who said "I have an old sewing table that's just crying to be re-finished with Fusion." I've seen sewing machines re-purposed and used for many things, but I've never seen a sewing machine cry! I think Dawn's being a little dramatic and I love it! Thank you Dawn for putting a smile on my face.

This is day four of our giveaways. There are 14 giveaways in total!

TODAY'S GIVEAWAY #4 IS:

A $50 gift card that can be used towards any type of paint or products - Fusion Mineral Paint, Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint or Homestead House Milk Paint. If the winner cannot visit my shop and uses the gift card on-line, their order will have free shipping so that the $50 is for paint.

If you want the next giveaway post sent to you by email, you can subscribe to my mailing list which is located in the side bar on the right side of this page.

Aren't these beautiful Fusion Mineral Paint Colours? Starting from the top: we have Cathedral Taupe, Prairie Sunset, Park Bench and Raw Silk. They sure play well together, don't they?

Hello again. Are you tired of me yet? It's okay to say yes, I'm getting tired of me too! Hopefully, the giveaways and the beautiful colour combinations make it worth popping in for!

Yesterday was neutral colours, so I decided today should include some beautiful bolds!

Photography blooper! Aren't these beautiful Fusion Mineral Paint Colours? Starting from the top: we have Cathedral Taupe, Prairie Sunset, Park Bench and Raw Silk. They sure play well together, don't they?

I was excited to take photos of these colours! I had some brand new big sheets of paper that I thought would work well with wet paint - boy was I wrong! I did the wet paint brush strokes, turned around to get my camera and right before my eyes the paper began to pucker. Really?!?! Wash the brush. Start again.

This was an improvement, but the colour Raw Silk didn't showed up on the paper as well as I had hoped. Frustration began to set it.

So I did what any frustrated person would do! I dipped more brushes in paint, threw them around a little and took some shots. It felt good! Really good! And I liked the way the shots turned out. There's just something about messy paint.

Chair painted in Fusion Mineral Paint in the colour Prairie Sunset.

This is an old photo of one the first projects I ever painted with Fusion in the colour Prairie Sunset. I still love this colour!

Did you know that you can paint on metal with Fusion Mineral Paint? These spoons are painted in Prairie Sunset.

The spoons are also painted. Yes, you can paint on metal! I would recommend that you put a coat of Ultra Grip on metal before you paint it. Did I? Absolutely not. They were spoons and I would have been okay if the paint chipped off a little. They would have matched my old measuring cup. The paint held up fine BUT if I was going to paint a metal door on my home, I certainly wouldn't have risked it. I would have given the door a quick coat of Ultra Grip first.

Fusion Mineral Paint in the colour Prairie Sunset.

I just had to pour some Prairie Sunset in my little measuring cup and take a photo. Why? Because some things just make me smile and this photo is one of them. Prairie Sunset is such a happy colour.

See you tomorrow!
