You know what I love about my little paint shop? Everything. Absolutely everything! Here's why.
Many years ago before Pinterest was around, I saw this photo by a gal named Donna and saved it on my computer. Remember when we had to save images to our computers? Yikes! That was a disorganized mess. Anyway, since that day I have always dreamed of stencilling my stairs. One day I will.
From that day forward, I started reading Donna's Funky Junk Interiors blog. I am a little obsessed with Donna's style and amazed at her creativity. I am sure Donna's right side of her brain is way larger than the average person's. It has to be. I have no idea how Donna can consistently come up with such creative ideas. The best part is that she uses all kinds of junk in her creations and I have a whole whack of junk in my back 40.
It blows my mind that years later I would have a little paint shop and actually sell Donna's stencils. This is the same staircase that I fell in love with years ago, but this time there are stencilled signs all over the walls. How cool is that?
I will stop talking now and let you scroll through some beautiful photos. All of these projects were created by Donna using her Old Sign Stencils.
I realize we are a little out of season here, but for those of you who sell your work, it's never too early to start planning your projects for the holiday season! I think signs like this would be great sellers, don't you?
I have created a photo gallery that features many more stencils and design ideas by Donna. You really need to take a peek!
