This Giveaway is over, but you can still enjoy some beautiful colour combinations with Fusion Mineral Paint.
Alana D. from Regina, Saskatchewan is the winner of our Giveaway #5!
Once again, thank you for all the great comments. You have no idea how much I appreciate reading them all! I was asking if you had ever been to Australia and if you were drooling over the new Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint colour - Outback Petticoat? Laura's comment was perfect! She said "Frank Sinatra said Orange is the color of happiness. I agree."
Well, this is day 7 of our Giveaways. We are half way there! There are still 7 more Giveaways to go. In case you are popping in for the first time, I am celebrating my 3rd Anniversary and I wanted to show my appreciation to all of you. My little paint shop is my dream come true!
TODAY'S GIVEAWAY #7 IS:
two 500 ml (1 pint) containers of any colours of Fusion Mineral Paint
one tester size (37 ml) of any colour of Fusion Mineral Paint
A $49 value.
I don't have any photo bloopers to share with you today! These shots were pretty straight forward and completely stress free (unlike the series of photos I shared yesterday!) I didn't make a big mess and did not have to do any re-shoots. I love when things go smoothly! Other than I feel like I am constantly washing paint brushes, it's all good.
Don't these colours look amazing together?
top colour: Homestead Blue
middle colour: Champness
bottom row from the left: Picket Fence, Soapstone, Lamp White
I love Champness and Picket Fence together. It yells cottage colours to me!
I love Soapstone and Lamp White together for a great neutral combination.
Really, the colour combinations are endless!
This is one of the first pieces I ever painted with Fusion Mineral Paint. I still have it in my shop, but eventually it is going to make it's way into my home. To be honest, I say that about most of the things I paint. Sorry, it's not for sale. I have a furniture hoarding issue and have a hard time parting with things once I paint them. I guess that's why I sell paint and not painted furniture! Hoarding issues for sure.
This was such a quick and easy paint job. The little cabinet was originally painted a light blue. I slapped (and I mean slapped!) on one quick coat of Fusion in the colour Champness.
As soon as the paint was dry to the touch (about 20 minutes), I used my handy dandy sanding pad and sanded the entire cabinet, applying extra pressure to the areas I wanted lots of distressing. If you ever decide to distress a piece this much, make sure to sand it as soon as it is dry. Otherwise Fusion can be challenging to distress. But I guess that's a good thing - Fusion is super durable!
I wanted this puppy to look like it had been kicking around forever! Hmmm. I guess it was pretty old to start with, but I wanted it looking old with MY choice of colour on it.
Lovely colours, aren't they?
See you again tomorrow. If you don't win today, maybe tomorrow will be your day!
