Oh my! Sometimes life gets busy and I don't blog as often as I should. Then I blog twice in one week. They say that consistency is important when writing a blog. I fail for sure! 2016 is a new year and I'll try to fix that.
I have shared this photo on my facebook page several times and everyone was so excited that Miss Mustard Seed had another white in the works. I know many of you are not on facebook, so I've written a quick blog post.
Well, Farmhouse White arrived today! I unpacked my paint order in search of the new colour, ripped open a bag and started painting. I needed to give Farmhouse White a test run!
I have a thing for rusty metal stars, so I started there. One coat coverage was pretty decent and two coats did the trick. Amazing coverage! The colour is gorgeous and Miss Mustard Seed really nailed it with her description of Farmhouse White. "This fresh color captures the feel of a classic farmhouse with white-painted wood siding, nestled in a bucolic valley. Farmhouse White really is a "perfect white". Not too cool, not too warm and covers better than the other whites in our line."
I was not prepared to paint much of anything today, but I was anxious to see what Farmhouse White looked like with Antiquing Wax. I grabbed a scrap board, put on one coat of paint and applied Antiquing Wax to half of it. She's gonna work just fine.
If I was a betting type of gal, I would place bets that Farmhouse White will quickly become the bestselling colour in the Miss Mustard Seed's line.
