Did you know that each of the seven Jennylyn's Tones for Tots colours are named after a nursery rhyme? How cute is that?
So far, Little Piggy has been the bestselling Tones for Tots colour in my shop. Little Piggy is a beautiful vintage pink that is incredibly soft and is like painting with the first bloom of a blush rose.
Of course, this lovely collection is not just for kids! Many of the colours would be perfect for a cottage or shabby chic look.
For many years I had this little table in my bedroom and it was time for a change! Originally I painted it with latex paint, but things have changed in my life. I have discovered that "real" furniture paint exists and that the "real" stuff really makes a huge difference. Fusion Mineral Paint is meant for furniture!
The top of the table was very tea stained. Not like a cool tea-dyed look, but rather my lack of using a coaster when I sip a cup of tea while reading in bed. Yes, I am a tea drinker. Red Rose is my favourite.
I painted her pretty with Little Piggy.
Although I liked the pink flower knobs I already had on the table, the colours really clashed. I replaced them with some pretty glass knobs.
This piece had some lovely wood trim on it, so I lightly distressed some areas to accent the trim.
I am so impressed with this shade of pink!
I also painted up some cute little things and made some photo collages to show you some beautiful colour combinations with the Tones for Tots Collection. This is Little Piggy and Little Stork. Aren't they gorgeous together?
You can see more colour combinations in my Tones for Tots photo gallery.
